What happens when you make an internal appointment and introduce a new manager to take responsibility for the sales team?

 

Rather than keeping their fingers crossed that they had made the right decision our client engaged us to work 121 with the newly appointed manager to coach and demonstrate management techniques. The client wasn’t looking for an off the shelf development programme, they felt the new manager needed a bespoke programme which plugged the knowledge gaps, they wanted the coach to be available to the new manager 24/7.

We have really helped the manager to be successful in their first six month in the new position, helping them make the transition from a member of the team to the leader and adding to their management tool kit. Results in those first six months have been right on target. They have appreciated our vast experience of the Waste Management sector.

 

We are now complimenting this coaching with the design and delivery of a consultative skills programme for the sales team, the programme is focused on helping them “Sell bigger” as they seek to move up the value chain to higher valued successes.

 

In parallel we are working with their Customer Service team to drive service excellence, they already achieve high standards and by using our waste management sector experience we have designed a specific programme to help improve their customer satisfaction results still further.
